Our Payment Methods

You can pay for your order online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, in instalments with Klarna or Affirm, or with your PayPal account. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Affirm payments are processed by Stripe; PayPal payments by PayPal. All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Available options are displayed at the “Payment” step.

• Credit card: choose “Pay online by card or Apple Pay” and enter the requested details in the secure form. Your card details never pass through our site.
• Apple Pay and Google Pay: if the option appears on your device, select it and follow the instructions to authorize your payment.
• Klarna and Affirm: pay in 4 interest-free instalments or monthly (subject to approval). Select the option in the payment form.
• PayPal: choose “Pay with PayPal”, then sign in to your PayPal account in the window that opens to confirm the payment.
• Pay in store: if you choose free in-store pickup, you can also pay on site at 3852 Saint-Denis Street, Montreal (cash, debit or credit card).

How to Place an Order

1. Your cart: add the items you would like, check the quantities, and proceed to checkout.
2. Your personal information: enter your first name, last name, and email address. Creating an account is optional. If you already have an account, you can sign in.
3. Your addresses: enter your shipping address and, if different, your billing address.
4. Delivery method: select shipping or in-store pickup from the options available for your order.
5. Payment: check your order summary and total, review the terms and conditions of sale, and follow the steps displayed to make your payment.

How to Make Your Payment

Paying by Card

Select “Card” on the payment form. Enter your card number, expiry date, security code, cardholder name, and the requested billing information.

Your bank may request additional verification, such as confirmation through your banking app. Follow the instructions displayed to complete your payment.

Paying with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna or Affirm

Select your preferred option when it is offered on the payment form. Check the details and amount displayed, then follow the instructions from your chosen service to authorize the transaction.

Paying with PayPal

Choose “Pay with PayPal”, accept the terms and conditions and click “Order”. A PayPal window opens: sign in to your account, check the amount, then confirm. You are then returned automatically to our site, where your order is confirmed. No banking details are entered on our site.

Available payment methods may vary depending on your device, browser, and the terms of use of the relevant service.

Protecting Your Information Online

Our store uses an HTTPS connection, which encrypts information exchanged between your browser and our website during transmission.

Payments are processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, Affirm) and by PayPal. Verification measures may be applied by the payment provider, your chosen payment service, or your bank.

Enter your name, contact details, and addresses only in the designated fields. Your card details should be entered in the payment form.

Protecting Your Account and Recognizing Fraudulent Messages

• If you create an account, choose a long, unique password.
• Keep your login details confidential and sign out after using a shared device.
• Keep your browser and devices up to date.
• Be cautious of messages requesting urgent payment, banking information, or a verification code.
• Check the website address: a sender’s name or logo alone does not prove that a message is genuine.

Having Trouble with Your Payment?

My Payment Was Declined

Check your card details, expiry date, and billing information. Also make sure you have completed any verification requested by your bank.

If the problem persists, contact your bank or try another payment method offered on the form.

Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna or Affirm Is Not Showing

These options may not be available in every situation (device, browser, amount). You can choose to pay by card, with PayPal, or use another option displayed on the payment form.

The PayPal Window Does Not Open

Check that your browser is not blocking pop-up windows for lamedinashop.com, then try again. You can also pay by card.

The Payment Form Is Not Showing

If you have not yet attempted to pay, refresh the page or try using an up-to-date browser. If the problem persists, contact us with details of your device and any error message, without sharing banking information.

I Am Not Sure Whether My Order Was Confirmed

Check your inbox and spam folder. If you have a customer account, check your order history as well.

If you see a bank transaction but cannot find the corresponding order, contact us before attempting to pay again.

I Notice a Transaction I Do Not Recognize

Contact your bank or payment service promptly. If the transaction appears to be related to a Medina Palais order, please also contact our team so we can check the order details.
